By most definitions, a headshot is simply a close-up photo of an individual that includes the head and shoulders, and part of the torso. Typically, it would be shot on a simple background in a vertical orientation and would not extend below the waist, but modern headshots can certainly blur those lines for a variety of reasons.
In-studio headshot sessions for individuals last 20-30 minutes and include high-resolution retouched digital images. We take numerous photos in different poses and at different angles. You review your images during the session and pick the ones you like most, and our team delivers your retouched headshots within 24-48 hours after your selects are chosen. This process is very smooth and easy, so don’t worry if you feel like you are not photogenic, we’ll walk you through the session every step of the way.

Additional edited photos are $15 each. This applies to every session type. PNG cutouts are $5 per photo for studio sessions. All images are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs. Florida sales tax is added to session totals.

Our studio is at 3110 Shamrock Street North in Tallahassee and is open by appointment. Studio headshots are framed from the torso up with professional lighting and guided posing. Backdrop options are white, black, light gray, dark gray, mocha, and a grayish-green textured backdrop. You review your images during the session and choose the ones you want retouched.
Corporate on-site and team headshots
Craft Creek Photography brings a full studio setup to your office for team, executive and staff headshots. On-site packages start at $250 and are priced by the number of people. Backdrop options are white, black or dark gray, or we can use your office space. Every person gets the same lighting and framing, so your team page looks consistent.
Headshots for law firms and government professionals
Attorneys, state employees, agency staff and elected officials in Tallahassee often need a clean, conservative headshot for firm websites, bar profiles, directories and official bios. Our studio backdrops in white, gray or black fit those uses. For a whole firm or office, an on-site corporate session keeps every portrait consistent.
